Third grade is starting on a doodling project. First I demonstrated doodling to them - they LOVED it! Now I'm showing them some examples of doodles I found on the web. They are doodling peace, love and understanding symbols and symbols that represent themselves on top of architectural blueprints - to add variety to their lines. When they return to class next time we will collage tissue paper over their doodles and then add one more layer of symbols on top of the tissue.
